Position: Full-time / 40 hours per week
Location: Midtown Manhattan / NYC Headquarters
National consumer goods and services Company focused on the US Hispanic market providing and distributing consumer telecommunication products including premium prepaid calling cards and financial services.
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for commercializing our products and services as advertising vehicles to reach the US Hispanic Consumer in the most cost-effective manner through but not exclusive to voice prompts, on pack advertising, coupon delivery, call-transfer, and text messages. The candidate should have experience selling B2C marketing opportunities to large national or regional companies that involve “non-traditional” ways to reach consumers. This position requires a dynamic pro-active individual who can identify the best opportunities to sell our products and close the deal. Capacity to understand relevant metrics is also needed.
Position reports to:
Vice President of Marketing and works closely with Marketing, Product, Sales and Accounting & Finance divisions.
Responsibilities
· Implement sales and marketing strategies to establish and build new accounts to ensure company meets revenue and profit objectives.
· Conduct market research and competitive intelligence to define, together with other business units, business model, including but not limited to price strategy, sales and accounting policies and overall processes
· Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads.
· Create presentations, proposals and sales pitch.
· Maintains a written log of each customer interface, response and follow up.
· Provides a monthly actions plan; reports progress against goals.
· Develops and maintains relationships with clients, business partners and internal departments.
