Our client is a private equity firm that specializes in the investment, management & development of commercial real estate assets in the U.S. Currently, the firm has over $6 billion in assets under management.
Job Description:
The goal of this position is to be as comprehensive, diligent, meticulous and analytical as it relates to RFP’s, RFI’s, consultant databases and consultant and client services. These skills will be utilized through the timely response to RFP’s, RFI’s and any and all consultant databases and/or other requests by or for clients and consultants. This position should help facilitate the communication process between all members of the Institutional Equity Group, clients, consultants, accounting, etc. and serve as a general "point of contact" for all relevant parties.
The ideal candidate will be professional, detail-oriented and have the ability to interact & communicate effectively with clients and external contacts.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide both oral and written communication to clients/consultants in a timely fashion.
- Provide materials, presentations and data to assist in face-to-face meetings with clients/consultants.
- Complete, consultant and prospect questionnaires.
- Update consultant databases on a quarterly basis.
- Provide follow-up to potential investors.
- Pursue potential sales leads under the direction of the Director of Institutional Equity.
- Under the direction of the Director of Institutional Sales, assist in the raising of equity.
- Support sales team with market research.
- Create marketing materials and presentations for conferences, ad campaigns, and other events as necessary.
- Understand and comply with provisions of SEC and federal regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality and protect the operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BS)
- 1-2+ years of institutional investment management experience necessary.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
- Excellent writing, organization and analytical skills necessary.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient knowledge with Microsoft Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
