Job Description



The Marketing Communications Director plays a critical role in managing the Company’s internal and external communications at all levels.  The primary objectives of the Marketing Communications Director are to utilize marketing and communications strategies and tactics to satisfy the Company’s corporate objectives, e.g., to increase awareness of the Company’s clinics and services and to manage/support internal content and communications. 


 


The Marketing Communications Director will build the internal and external communications programs from the ground up, including managing the development of an online presence.  This opportunity allows the Marketing Communications Director to manage and grow the marketing/awareness program as the company continues its rapid growth.  The Marketing Communications Director reports to and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer.


 


More specifically, responsibilities include the following:


 


Internal Communication Responsibilities:


 



  • Creates, develops, and manages communication platforms for communications to local, regional, and corporate employees.
  • Supports the design/development and implementation of internal training materials, communications, and platforms.
  • Develops and manages standardized internal policies and processes regarding content, communications, and communications platforms.
  • Organizes and maintains the Company’s communications “knowledge warehouse” (i.e., content and proprietary information).
  • Supports internal feedback systems across local, regional, and corporate levels.

 


External Communication Responsibilities:


 



  • Creates, plans and manages community outreach efforts, to include content development and execution of plan, both directly and indirectly (i.e., via field staff).
  • Manages media and public relations efforts at the local, regional, and national levels.
  • Creates, implements, and manages content distribution to clients, potential clients, and the public through traditional and new media platforms.
  • Develops and manages the Company’s overall brand identity.
  • Develops and manages external feedback systems to gauge client satisfaction and clinic performance trends.

 


Marketing Responsibilities:


 



  • Develops, manages, and implements strategic marketing efforts at the local clinic and broader corporate levels to increase awareness among potential clients.
  • Develops and manages relationships and communications with local community agencies and stakeholders to increase awareness of clinics among potential clients, to include planning, organizing, and conducting public information sessions, town hall meetings, etc.
  • Oversees and deploys a marketing budget to achieve specific objectives.

 


Requirements:


 



  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience; must have experience in a marketing or communications role, preferably in healthcare or social services.
  • Ability to function independently in a hands-on capacity with no corporate staff support.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing/communication strategies across various communication platforms. 
  • Must be proficient in SEO and website analytics to drive lead generation and capture revenue.
  • Ability to create and implement a marketing/communications strategy and platform in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience in managing a budget and meeting objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and decision-making.
  • Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions.
  • Preferably have experience working in community relations and/or PR.
  • Some travel required.
