Pleasant Holidays, celebrating its 50^th year and one of the largest travel companies in the U.S. specializing in Hawaii, Mexico, Caribbean, Tahiti, Fiji, Costa Rica, and Las Vegas vacations, has an immediate opening for a Marketing Communications Manager at our Westlake Village, CA headquarters.

Key responsibilities include:

·         Writing and editing all varieties of sales, marketing and advertising materials and collateral pieces

·         Write and manage press releases, media outreach and coverage

·         Develop and implement communication strategies for public relations and advertising

Qualified candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism/Public Relations/Communications or related field with 5+ years experience in a Public Relations at an agency or in-house.  The ideal candidate will have outstanding written and verbal communications, flawless editing skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects.  Understanding of the travel industry, and solid time management skills preferred.
