Concordia Publishing House, the publishing arm of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod, is seeking a Marketing Communications Specialist. This position produces compelling, audience-focused content that effectively positions, differentiates, and promotes CPH products and services, and is responsible for product and brand-specific advertising efforts to meet strategic goals, create awareness and sales traffic, and help the CPH brand to be top of mind among customers.
The successful candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to write compelling, strong, audience-targeted, engaging copy; excellent proofreading and editing skills; superior project and time management skills; strong analytical skills and be detail oriented; experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns; strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate complicated ideas clearly; understanding of layout design and working knowledge of professional publishing and presentation software; experience with Web-based media including social networking tools, blogs, e-mail, and forums; ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-pace environment.
