Marketing Communications Specialist - $100,000

Marketing Communications Specialist

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Communications Specialist will lead much of the development, design and implementation of the overall communications efforts for Shurwest Financial Group. At a minimum, you will require the following skills to be considered:

•  Excellent writing skills (writing samples will be required)

•  Working knowledge of the predominate software packages used for marketing communications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Flash)

•  Demonstrated graphic design skills (a portfolio will be required).

      •  Experience in creating web content with the following

                 technologies in their current release versions:

1. HTML/CSS


2. XHTML


3. Java Script


4. PHP


5. MySQL


6. phpMyAdmin


7. AS3

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, have demonstrated an ability to take on multiple projects, and be equally comfortable working independently and in a team environment. While initially being task oriented, the Marketing Communications Specialist will be required to understand Shurwest’s core business and be able to see the “big picture”.
