Abcam is a rapidly growing business, specializing in the production and sale of antibodies and related products. We are a web-based business, with offices in Cambridge, UK, Cambridge, USA, Tokyo, Japan and Hong Kong, China.




We are currently looking for a Marketing Coordinator that can join our team. This individual should have an understanding of antibodies or marketing experience, have the ability to communicate clearly with people from diverse backgrounds, and enjoy a challenge.




Job Purpose: Support and implement Abcam Inc's regional marketing strategy.



Duties:


  • Perform regional sales and market analysis within North, South and Central America and create marketing plans to increase sales in those segments.
  • Implement and/or develop working relationships with South and Central American Distributors. Set and meet sales targets for distributor countries.
  • Assist with the implementation and marketing of regional promotions.
  • Investigate and suggest new marketing (online and offline) opportunities for Abcam.
  • Keep literature and promotional items organized in marketing closet and maintain an accurate inventory.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of Abcam's attendance at tradeshows and conferences.


    Summary of Job Requirements:
  • A BS in life science or marketing with 1-3 years of experience.
  • Laboratory or industry experiences particularly with antibodies a plus.
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Oral and written communication in Portuguese a plus.
  • Must be able to travel 10-20% domestic and internationally.
