Marketing Coordinator - Transportation Demand Management Programs (NY)

ICF is currently seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support transportation demand management efforts in the downstate New York region. This position is located in Manhattan, NY.



Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, public communications, journalism or related field
  • One to two years experience in marketing communications.
Candidate should have experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Writing public outreach materials, supporting a sales team, managing and staffing events, working with graphic designers and web marketing/social media.
  • Understanding of transportation and air quality issues is a plus.
This position will require some travel within the New York City metro area. It will also involve coordination with ICF's strategic communications staff in Washington, DC, and may require limited travel outside the New York City region.



Responsibilities include:
  • Assist the Marketing Manager in executing the marketing plan to reach drivers and employers throughout the downstate New York region;
  • Write marketing materials, including brochures, fact sheets, blogs, web copy, and direct mail
  • Coordinate layout of marketing materials with ICF's graphics department
  • Coordinating appearances at business and consumer events
  • Staff program booth at business and consumer events
  • Maintaining program blog, social networking, and web content
  • Prepare sales support materials, such as PowerPoint presentations
  • Prepare monthly reports on activities and results of the marketing program
In addition, this position may also involve support to other ICF projects related to communications, transportation, and voluntary programs.
