This company seeks a strong Marketing Director which will assist in branding and positioning this firm for the next decade!
The Marketing Director creates and implements marketing, sales and lead generation programs designed to increase firm revenues billed, by 10%+ per year. This person will be responsible for creating a powerful firm brand both outside and inside of the firm.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develops and implements strategic marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve firm objectives.
- Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
- Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals accordingly.
- Develops and manages lead generation activities for identifying potential new clients.
- Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
- Provides sales support to the rest of the firm, including preparation for and possible participation in meetings with prospects.
- Establishes and maintains a consistent firm brand throughout all promotional and event materials.
- Drives the development and implementation of all marketing communication strategies, branding, positioning and campaigns.
- Maintains client and prospect mailing lists for newsletters and other informational mailings.
- Represents firm at trade shows and trade association meetings to promote the firm.
- Manages external partnership relationships.
- Conducts training to strengthen the ability of staff to market and sell themselves and the firm.
- Assists other departments within firm to prepare manuals and technical publications to ensure consistent firm brand.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing or Business preferred.
- At least 5-7 years related experience with progressive managerial responsibilities.
- Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of sales and marketing techniques.
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
- History of positive working relationships.
- Ability to see projects through to completion with minimal supervision.
- Good planning and organizational skills.
