SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Marketing Event Manager will lead the strategy and implementation of a comprehensive calendar of events, tradeshows and sponsorships that support Liberty Power’s overall Marketing, Sales and Business objectives. This is a critical, high profile role that will work closely with all levels of the company and will be the “Go To Person” responsible for the flawless execution of company sponsored events, webinars, sponsorships and tradeshows.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Development and effective management of a comprehensive Event Calendar and Budget
2. Creating strategic event plans for trade shows, conferences and other external events sponsored by the company
3. Coordinating exhibits, graphics, presentations, hotel rooms, receptions, meetings, and other event components
4. Managing lead capture and results measurement resulting from participation in events and tradeshows
5. Working closely with company and 3rd party organization leaders, agencies and suppliers and members of the marketing team to ensure effective event execution
6. Ongoing management of company trade show booths and exhibits as well as Sales Giveaways.
7. Working with other members of the Marketing and Sales Teams to develop effective Webinars and other technology based approaches to events.
8. Ensuring that the brand is represented accurately and that messaging is appropriate for the involved venue
9. Conducting formal Post Mortems on event activities with recommendations for improvement
10. Conducting periodic management updates of upcoming events
11. Keeping current on competitor activities
12. Meeting budgets and timelines
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
BS degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field with a minimum of five years relevant experience.
