LEAD ENGINEER (JAVA)
The
Denzel Group has been selected to work with a great growing company in
Southeastern, PA area (King of Prussia, Wayne) that is looking for a
Lead Engineer. Our client is a growing company that offers great
technology, working environment and benefits! In this role you will
have responsible for participating in all stages of software
development including analyzing, designing, programming, debugging, and
modifying software enhancements and/or new products for internal or
customer applications. You will also be responsible for designing large
scale software/hardware systems and lead other team members in the
development of those systems. In addition you will be using current
programming language and technologies, write code, complete
programming, and perform testing and debugging of applications. Java Developer, Java Programmer, Sr Software Engineer, Software Engineer
RESPONSIBILITIES:
**Software design and review; software development of application or system components
**Requirements definition and analysis; unit testing of developed code
**Investigation and root cause analysis of software and system defects
**Maintain and run tools and processes that support and automate software product release
**Understand
the technical aspects of the products used to support the configuration
management activities of the development process
**Adapt
configuration management tools for the complex needs of the development
teams or the management of the development process
**Generate, monitor and maintain Baseline Audit, and Configuration Item Version Control
**Deploy the development artifacts to a staging area for release to production; enforce process compliance
REQUIREMENTS:
**10+ years of engineering experience (Java) and 1 year of technical leadership or managerial experience
**Proficient in one programming or shell language (e.g., Java, C++, C#, VB, perl, ksh, tcsh)
**Proficient in one operating system (e.g., Unix, Linux, Windows)
**Proficient in one Configuration Management tool (e.g., ClearCase, Subversion, CVS)
**Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Management Information Systems; MBA/MSc/PhD preferred
