Marketing Manager - Domain Aftermarket 10/30/2009

Reporting to the VP, Website Marketing, this position is responsible for marketing and content management of the Auctions & Aftermarket portions of the GoDaddy.com corporate website and will be accountable for growing and optimizing Website key performance metrics through ongoing analysis, data discovery, and testing strategies.

Job Responsibilities:

·         Manages all website projects related to Aftermarket product line - define strategy, direct usability and creative teams, collaborate with business intelligence and web development.  

·         Execute end to end website campaigns and multivariate tests - owning all elements from strategy through implementation and measurement/analysis. Communicate plans and results in executive summary form.

·         Gather and analyze traffic, customer behavior, traffic drivers and the respective conversion funnel.  Understand traffic patterns to identify areas where customers may abandon as well as changes that may increase conversions.

·         Manage and track website pathway and overall product line key metrics, continually looking for optimization opportunities and measuring/reporting results.

·         Serves as evangelist of the Aftermarket products to internal channels, call center & training & ensures product is presented accurately and promoted consistently cross-channel.

·         Obtain, review and monitor customer feedback to ensure an optimal shopping and checkout experience.

·         Identify textual & graphical cross/up-sell opportunities throughout the website.

 

Requirements:

·         Minimum of 5 years experience in online and/or product marketing, preferably in a technology or web-based field.  Direct marketing and multi-channel experience is a plus.

·         BA degree in marketing or business or equivalent experience.

·         Proven experience working with marketing, user interaction, creative, business analysts and development teams with ability to articulate direction and requirements clearly.

·         Ability to summarize results, findings and strategies for marketing peers and executive staff.

·         Summarize and interpret data output and use data to define strategies, user interface and optimization.

·         Proficient in Word, Excel and basic design/wireframe skills and statistical analysis skills. Working knowledge of Photoshop a plus.

·         Understanding of designing for web development, customer interactions, impact on revenue or other key performance metrics.

·         Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.

·         Results oriented, self-starter who communicates effectively (written, oral, presentation).
