Major responsibilities include: 1 analyzing key franchise data sources and metrics to drive strategic decision making;
2 continuing to develop and enhance reporting processes for key customers including senior management;
3 developing market forecasts and driving commercial analyses for R&D investment prioritization process;
4 working with finance team and Regions to complete annual long range planning & strategic planning process
5 analyzing competitive financial data
6 supporting hemophilia franchise business development efforts. Will often work in collaboration with Regions and Countries as well as other functions, e.g. market research & planning, strategic planning, business development and finance.
Bachelor?s degree in economics/ finance or related discipline; alternatively business school/MBA degree. Two to five years work experience in analytical roles. Representative experiences may include investment banking, management consulting, or work as a financial analyst. Key skills: self-starter; ability to structure & execute problem solving with appropriate analyses; ability to work in a matrix environment across functions & across Regions; ability to work with complex spreadsheet models; strategic thinking with strong attention to detail; experience working in high intensity/ high profile environment. Experience with probabilistic modeling or other decision analysis is a plus. Experience in pharma/biotech is a plus.
