Job Description


The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the strategic development and implementation of marketing plans which reduce a customer’s likelihood to churn during their lifecycle with Dish Network.  Working with management team to develop and implement various Retention campaigns for existing customers. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Champion all aspects of existing customer campaigns and retention initiatives throughout the company to include campaign development, pitching, implementation, analysis and reporting.
  • Implement and execute retention campaigns while working with premiums and partners to collaborate on various projects that align with both business units.
  • Ongoing project management of campaigns while facilitating overall operational and marketing rollout of key initiatives including working closely with call center operations, training and executive leadership.
  • Management of all programmer partnerships and premium relationships, with ongoing meetings, communications, project timelines and budgetary items.
  • Lead cross functional teams to gain departmental and corporate acceptance and to implement tactics with aggressive deadlines.
  • Delivering and executing projects under tight timeframes and under budget.
  • Presentation of retention campaigns to other internal and external business members to get buy in.
  • Lead the development of project briefs that include business requirements and follow process management processes and timelines.

Education Requirements:

 

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4+ years of job related experience in the field of marketing is required, preferably in the telecommunications industry or with a subscription product or service.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Proven experience and success in performing both strategic and execution related roles.
  • Excellent project management skills; ability to multi-task; proven success in leading cross-functional teams and comfortable working with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Highly intelligent and have a passion for building relationships and business partnerships.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and manage project details while balancing multiple priorities.
  • Able to operate in an environment with changing priorities and the need to respond quickly to situations.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) in a Windows environment with an intermediate to advanced level of proficiency in word processing (Word), spreadsheet (Excel), and presentation (PowerPoint) software applications is required.
