Position Description:
Title: Marketing Manager
Location: Jersey City, NJ
• Assist in developing the products’ strategic marketing goals (to include yearly objectives, target customers, strategies, tactics, key messages and timelines) working with business managers, sales and product management.
• Provide business objectives, audiences, key messages and supporting content in the development of marketing-related collateral, presentations and press releases.
• Prepare for and actively participate in trade shows/events, determining objectives, developing themes and evaluating effectiveness.
• Responsible for segment-wide marketing activities, such as partnership development and internal communications.
• Manage client communications, events, press and thought leadership activities for targeted brands in conjunction with team marketer(s).
• Responsible for business writing for assigned products and services.
• Conduct interactive marketing activities: online strategy, content planning and execution of web initiatives in conjunction with interactive marketer(s).
• Contribute to social media content and initiatives in conjunction with social media marketer(s).
• Contribute market research reports, trends, database improvements as necessary; Analyze data from SFDC, internal web reports, Google analytics and ROMI and present findings.
• Stays abreast of all updates, changes and trends associated segment wide responsibilities.
• Represent marketing at company-wide meetings and various industry events. Participate in company wide councils.


Position Requirements:
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• Must be self starter, team player, energetic.
• 4 + years experience in marketing in the financial services industry.
• Superior writing and editing skills with the ability to clearly and efficiently communicate value propositions and compelling content. Experience developing white papers, data sheets, and web copy.
• Motivated to seek out new and creative venues to communicate to target audience(s), such as video technology, podcasts, speaking engagements and more
• Good understanding of marketing concepts, key issues facing B2B marketers to maximize lead generation, website traffic and sales.
• Great Word, Excel, PowerPoint and research abilities.
• Must be comfortable working with other people and communicating timelines and work expectations.
• Previous management experience 1-3 a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Travel: 15-30%
