Marketing Manager

General Responsibility


The Marketing Manager is responsible for managing all marketing, communications, and demand/lead generation programs of BEUMER Corporation in North America. The Marketing Manager will work directly with the CMO and VP Corporate Development, as well as with other BEUMER Corporation business leadership (i.e., business segment and sales heads) to identify, document, and execute marketing initiatives that BEUMER Corporation's several businesses to grow at a rate in excess of market growth.
The Marketing Managerwill be an experienced, hands-on B2B marketing professional with functional expertise and practical experience in: traditional and emerging marketing and communications channels and media, including relevant digital channels and social media; trade show/marketing event management; and collateral development and management.

 

The Marketing Manager will lead the effort to drive share gain in historically served markets and to expand the addressable market in North America for BEUMER Group products and solutions by creating, implementing, and optimizing go-to-market strategies and plans (including tactical marketing and sales enablement plans, processes, and tools). Key functional responsibilities will include: marketing and demand/lead generation and lead nurturing strategy development and execution; integrated campaign development and execution; marketing communications; market and competitor analysis; and customer intelligence development and utilization.

 

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years demonstrably successful experience in: B2B marketing planning and operations, external and internal brand communications, B2B product/brand management relating to industrial automation solutions (moderately complex/complex technology portfolios with longer sales cycles); and integrated marketing program/campaign development and execution (including lead nurturing) in multi-product/multi-segment/multi-industry businesses. Direct experience in the marketing and sales of complex material handling and/or logistics products and solutions is preferred.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

·         Develop and maintain product-market segmentation scheme, including identification, quantification, and prioritization of segments.

·         Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and demand/lead generation and lead nurturing plans (aligned to BEUMER Corporation strategic plan and to market and adjacent opportunity maps) for BEUMER Corporation's Sortation-Logistics, sortation-Airports, Conveying and Loading Systems, Conveying and Loading Products, Palletizing and Packaging products, and Customer Support businesses.

·         Develop and articulate product-/systems-level and market segment-specific value propositions to include supporting proof points.

·         Lead the development of and manage tactical marketing and communications initiatives (including the management of third-party agencies), helping to translate BEUMER Corporation's technology and application expertise, innovation, and quality leadership into marketing programs that grow revenue and strengthen the value of the BEUMER brand in North America.

·         Develop annual marketing budget; monitor performance against budget and identify opportunities for driving favorable variance without compromising results.

·         Develop and implement marketing and demand generation performance metrics.

·         Identify, prioritize, and execute on marketing opportunities with significant scale and synergy to drive growth and leverage current portfolio of products and systems.

·         Develop and maintain an inventory of core competitor strengths, weaknesses and capabilities; gather and integrate competitive intelligence into company and product-/systems-level marketing planning.

Key Indicators/Measures of Successful Performance for Marketing Manager

 

The Marketing Manager has primary responsibility for integrated marketing and demand/lead generation programs that cost-effectively help drive: (a) share gain in historically served markets, (b) expansion and penetration of the addressable market in North America for BEUMER Group products and systems; and (c) order intake growth at a rate in excess of market growth.


Accordingly, key indicators/measures of successful performance for the Marketing Manager would include, illustratively:

·         Demand/lead generation, at or above business plan objectives

·         Core growth (order intake), at or above business plan objectives

·         Quantifiable and appropriately robust growth in awareness

·         Quantifiable and appropriately robust growth in indicated preference for BEUMER Group products and systems

·         Marketing funnel development, growth rate, and pace

·         Marketing funnel-to-sales funnel conversion rate and pace

·         Favorable variance to marketing budgets, with sequential negative growth in cost per opportunity and cost per share point
