Our client, a large food/consumer goods company is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to join its sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Consistently achieve or surpass Company sales goals.
- Manage sales operations and achieve results that will increase the market share in the area.
- Recruiting, counseling, motivating and developing sales personnel.
- Lowering returns by guiding the organization through ordering, merchandising and space management.
- Promoting safety and implementing safety standards and initiatives.
- Back-up in the event of the need to run open routes.Design and implement corporate marketing strategy for the firm's consumer packaged good products.
Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of three years' food related business experience in sales, bakery goods experience preferred.
- BA/BS in marketing or other business related field a plus.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office application.
- Individual must be able to work a flexible schedule including early morning hours.
- Successful candidate must have a valid driver's license.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
