












Job Description:
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Responsible for interfacing with sales representatives and surgeons in downstream marketing aspects of planning, developing, managing, and delivering messaging, materials and support for domestic Neuromodulation products, including new product launch support, presentations, selling materials, technical bulletins, newsletters and other communication venues.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Drive the development of sales tools and support materials by attaining a thorough understanding of the users, products, competition and technology of Neuromodulation to produce understandable, vernacular materials.
Assist with the development and execution of Sales Support Programs, managing creation of materials, planning, rollout, and support.
Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Creative Marketing to develop marketing communications and promotional strategies and tactics designed to emphasize product benefits, positioning and overall branding.
Obtain input and participate in cross-functional tradeoff decisions to help define product marketing requirements and improvement opportunities from external customers.
Obtain and analyze physician and competitive information; develop sales and marketing strategies in response to input and competitive product launches.
Co-calls with sales to physicians in meetings and the OR to obtain input on requirements and preferences, and to technically explain the attributes and differentiating features of our products.
Participate in the creation of quantitative analyses for product launch planning and market acceptance.
Work collaboratively with the Education & Training Department to provide information required for Sales Force on key messages and selling tips; presentations at marketing and product training programs.
Inform and train the Field Technical Services and Professional Education departments in the use of new techniques and products.
Develop and execute market research, branding and market segmentation studies.
Represent Physicians and Sales in Core teams to provide market-driven product requirements on a global basis.
Work with internal and external marketing groups to deliver creative marketing and sales support materials.
Attend and manage medical conferences and seminars to improve understanding and conveying the detailed attributes and competitive comparisons as the expert of assigned products in a highly professional manner.
Experience:
· Prefer minimum of 3 years experience in a medical-related industry in a product management, sales or marketing position with product launch experience.
· Field medical sales, technical and/or marketing communications experiences a plus.
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
· Must have excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen to clinical and customer needs, prioritize needs/requirements and communicate them to cross-functional teams, including physicians.
· Must have exceptional leadership, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills, particularly in working effectively as a member of a team.
· Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and foster constructive relationships with internal and external customers.

EDUCATION and TRAINING:
· Bachelor’s degree
· MBA preferred
PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT / WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Must have the ability to handle the stresses of 25% or more travel schedule. Ability to independently manage a moderate travel schedule. Ability to be flexible in working extended schedules, including some weekends.

Vendors: Vendors for all types of marketing services used in the development and promotion of medical devices; specifically, advertising agencies, market research firms, sales training organizations, graphics developers, etc.

Job Experience:
