This key role will monitor, analyze and report on subscriber growth trends and use analytical insights to make powerful recommendations to improve customer growth, retention, revenue and cash flow performance. The Manager is responsible for managing processes and personnel to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives in Comcast's Twin Cities Region. In this position, the Manager of Marketing Analysis will supervise a reporting and analysis supervisor and a team of marketing analysts. The team executes the following functions: subscriber trend analysis and forecasting, target segmentation and campaign analysis, identify variances and trends in subscriber activity, evaluate subscriber revenues and marketing expenses as they relate to marketing initiatives, and calculate salesperson commissions. Based on quantitative analysis and data mining, the manager will recommend ways to meet cash flow and subscriber goals. Find efficient opportunities to generate incremental connect activity through segmented upgrade and non-subscriber marketing. Various methods may be used which may include campaign analysis, cash flow analysis, regression analysis, variance analysis and predictive modeling.
Major Duties: Provide leadership and supervision to reporting and analysis team. Integrate tools to target our subscriber base for campaigns. Develop solutions for metric reporting for the market. Extract timely data from various billing systems/data bases to build meaningful analyses to help make business decisions. Prepare the weekly subscriber forecast. Assist with the annual marketing budget related to subscribers, revenues and expenses. Streamline existing processes including report automation.
Required Skills: Minimum Requirements: • 4 year degree in Marketing, Finance, Statistics, IS or related field • Experience with a billing system (preferably CSG or AMDOCS) • 4 - 6 years experience in database marketing, target audience segmentation, marketing analysis, and reporting • Team and results-oriented • High proficiency with Excel • Strong familiarity with databases and reporting tools (Access, COMET, SQL, Citrix, etc.) • Strong organizational and leadership skills
