Job Summary:

Responsible for leading the development and implementation of integrated marketing programs to support the broader consumer marketing campaign.  Works with Marketing Manager to develop the marketing plan and is wholly accountable for implementing the plan on-time and within budget.  Will identify, evaluate and manage multiple projects simultaneously while engaging cross-functional teams to meet deliverables and deadlines.  Manages day-to-day interactions with hired advertising agencies. 

 

Job Responsibilities:

1.      Works with Marketing Manager to develop specific marketing plans in support of the organization's wider brand strategy and campaign-specific objectives.  

2.      Project manages execution of assigned advertising and media campaigns to meet all defined deliverables and deadlines.

3.      Establishes and maintains tracking and reporting mechanisms, and regularly communicates progress against goals.

4.      Develops and manages budget controls for each assigned marketing plan and ensures all projects are completed within assigned budget.  Also responsible for invoice tracking, approvals, and processing. 

5.      Leads cross-functional teams to implement the integrated plans and makes sure that all required approvals on creative or media buys are gained. 

6.      Manages day-to-day interactions with hired advertising agencies.

7.      Works with UL's research team to establish plan-specific measures for success and continuously measures progress, making course corrections as needed.

8.      Stays abreast of industry marketing trends, maintains a clear understanding of competitive marketing behaviors and suggests changes to marketing plans to stay current/fresh. 

9.      Performs other duties as directed.

 

Qualifications:

·         University degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field, and 8 years of professional marketing experience with prior marketing experience program managing marketing strategy and advertising campaigns.

·         Strategic Management experience with oversight of advertising campaigns through corporate marketing or outside agency experience.

·         Strong business and marketing strategy acumen.
