SIMULIA is currently seeking a Marketing Specialist responsible for developing product launch marketing content and programs that enable our global sales and marketing channels to drive awareness and adoption of our PLM-integrated analysis solutions.

 

In collaboration with Product Management and Channel Sales Management, the successful candidate will create marketing collateral and sales kits consisting of brochures, presentations, web banners, direct mail, telemarketing scripts, and other promotional material which will be used by the field marketing organization and sales team to generate leads and drive revenue. 

 

To fulfill this responsibility, you will work closely with members of product management to identify and highlight key features and benefits of new and existing products which are targeted at designers in the industrial equipment, automotive, aerospace, electronics, life sciences, and other industries. You will also work with Channel Management and Field Marketing to ensure that the marketing collateral and related promotions are effective and of value for our sales teams.

 

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated product or channel marketing professional looking to leverage both a technical and marketing or communications background within a revenue-influencing position. The position offers significant visibility across the organization and provides the opportunity to work closely with senior management to develop product and sales collateral to help achieve revenue objectives.

 

The ideal candidate has strong skills coordinating complex marketing projects, and has the ability to create promotional content and materials that are clear, concise, and compelling.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

·         Develop product launch and marketing plans, in coordination with Product Management, Marketing Communications, Sales Management, and Field Marketing to drive awareness and lead generation.

·         Write and edit content for product marketing collateral, including printed brochures, flyers, presentations, tech briefs, interactive marketing tools, and Web site content.

·         Coordinate the development of marketing programs that can be implemented by field marketing and sales. Such programs may include content for the development and delivery of webinars, user meetings, advertising, e-marketing, and tradeshows to drive awareness and demand for our products.

·         Update product release information, including key messages, overviews, and sales kits on internal portals and communities.

·         Identify and assist in developing customer success stories for media publication and sales referencing. Gather and distribute sales win information to internal communities.

·         Disseminate product marketing information and sales kits via internal and sales portals.

 

Experience and Skills Required:

·         Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related discipline. Engineering or other high-tech degree will also be considered.

·         5-7 years of Marketing experience in a high-tech industry. Specific Computer-Aided Engineering or other software marketing experience a plus.

·         Experience in coordinating creation of sales kits for worldwide channel sales and marketing teams

·         Strong project and time management skills.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of French language could be beneficial.

·         Working knowledge of using Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Dream Weaver, or FrontPage.

·         Must be able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

·         Must be able to communicate effectively in face-to-face and online situations.
