About the Job
Willamette View is seeking to fill a Full-Time Marketing & Sales Associate I position for independent and assisted living sales. The individual would work in a beautiful park-like environment on a 27-acre campus. Five years successful direct sales and marketing-related experience in senior housing, or equivalent experience in another field is needed. Individual should be self-motivated, results/goal oriented with a proven track record of sales success.
The Marketing & Sales Associate I participates as a member of the marketing team to achieve and maintain census and occupancy goals. Communicates positive image and information regarding lifestyle benefits of Willamette View, a CCRC (continuing care retirement community).
Duties
*Produce sales: Respond to lead inquiries, generate qualified prospects, schedule and conduct tours, and coordinate onsite visits for overnight marketing guest stays. Close the sale, screen and process residency applications; manage sales-related paperwork, including, but not limited to, cost estimate and billing worksheets. Follow up with new resident for referrals.
*Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and Approved Applicants: Complete regularly scheduled follow-up with contacts, generate return visits/retours.
*Manage internal and external databases: Coordinate and monitor residents and Approved Applicants wait lists, offering units as appropriate; maintain and update prospect data in REPS (leads software program), keep databases current and accurate.
*Execute reports: Prepare monthly sales and marketing reports, including but not limited to, unit vacancies, sales and move-ins, census, and occupancy percentage. Generate tracking reports such as sales and conversion statistics to monitor personal performance.
*Work with New Resident Liaison Coordinator and Willamette View Renovation Team: Generate unit scope of work, collect and receipt all monies, assist with move-in process for incoming residents; help orient new residents to Willamette View – following up during first moth of occupancy, and as needed thereafter.
*Collaborate with marketing team on special events and promotions: Assist with coordination, setup, and operation of various onsite and off-site programs, such as making arrangements prior to event, handling invitations of mailings and RSVPs; greet visitors, provide information and conduct tours, follow up, and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
· A minimum of 5 years successful direct sales and marketing-related experience in senior housing, or
equivalent experience in another field.
· Knowledge of sales techniques and ability to make effective sales presentations.
· Excellent selling and closing skills; verbal, written, and electronic communication skills.
· Excellent computer skills required with Microsoft Word and Excel.
· Appreciates seniors and works well with aging persons in a continuing care environment.
· Ability to coordinate a variety of details; time management, and organizational and project management
skills.
· Possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License.
· Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
· A working knowledge of Microsoft office Suite 2007.
· Knowledge of REPS or other lead database management program is a plus.
Individuals are offered conditional employment subject to successful completion of drug testing, successful completion of criminal background investigation, and ability to provide proof of legal right to work in the U.S.
Work Schedule
Primarily working Tue – Sat 8:00am – 4:30pm; other times as appropriate, required
Physical Requirements
Frequent use of hands and arms. Required to bend and lift up to 35 lbs; Includes walking over 50% of the time.
