Responsibilities:

  • Customer Management
  • Assist with positioning and driving the sales department towards new sales expansion and opportunity; and the development of new customers.
  • Implement strategies to grow the business and drive revenue generation from new business.
  • Manage multiple customer forecasts and perform monthly demand management.
  • Assist with coordination of new project development with customers and other departments.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and leverage new customer relationships to meet long-term strategies.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships and customer satisfaction by ensuring outstanding customer service and support.
  • Ensure that outward projections of the company are aligned with my client's core values and principles.
  • Assist with management of customer order fulfillment by coordinating sales department responsibilities with Production, Technical, Supply Chain and QA departments to ensure on-time product delivery and complete customer satisfaction.

 

Planning

  • Assist VP of sales with the development of strategies that plan for and provide a solid foundation for my client's business.
  • Assist with analysis and determination of product pricing and support of customer contracts.
  • Assist analysts with review of customer orders and forecasting and allocating materials to fulfill customer needs.
  • Assist with development of sales forecast for annual budgeting and mid-term and yearly business plans.
  • Submit monthly client continuous rolling demand forecast for production planning purposes and track sales performance against budget.
  • Act as a management interface between Sales, Production, Technical and other Departments.


Project Management

  • Use project management expertise to manage and influence cross-functional projects.
  • Develop timelines, schedules, Gantt charts, resource plans, and budgets to support project activities.
  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
  • Make recommendations and lead process improvement projects.
  • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management.

 

Qualifications: 

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration, International Business, Engineering or a closely related field;
  • and at least five years’ work experience in strategic sales and marketing or account management,
  • preferably in the composite material or structures business.
  • Aerospace experience is a plus.
