Title: Marketing Specialist
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree; 3-5 years experience within Marketing;
1+ years of trade show planning a plus.
General Position Summary:
We are seeking a high-energy, detailed oriented and organized professional to manage and execute our company’s trade shows, mobile marketing, events, sponsorships and brand ambassadors. Individual must be a team player and have a positive, proactive attitude, and excellent communication skills to interact with co-workers, clients and vendors. Individual must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Attend major trade shows and work as booth manager to coordinate set-up and dismantle of booth including packing and checking for damage/completeness and adhering to booth rules and managing deadlines.
- 30% travel - willing to travel to key shows and events throughout the US as required.
- Procure equipment, maintain equipment inventory and update equipment when appropriate.
- Maintain trade show schedule and develop staffing recommendations and submit staffing requests in a timely manner. Reserve hotel accommodations, catering, transportation and credentials for staffing.

Prepare contracts, manage vendor relationships, verify invoices, coordinate show shipping, manage storage and order show services, literature and promotional merchandise.

Manage all aspects of Raymarine’s mobile marketing activities, including event scheduling, promotional efforts and equipment maintenance and upgrades.

Create pre/post show reports as well as conduct pre/post meetings to ensure objectives and company goals are met and maximized. Solicit feedback from staff.

Manage key sponsorships, including the following:

Establish a systematic means to evaluate opportunities

Deliver sponsorships that maximize brand awareness and equity

Deliver the plan on budget

Develop and implement new brand initiatives that drive enhanced loyalty with Raymarine consumers

Develop and execute merchandising and point of purchase solutions for key accounts.

Work with VP of Sales to maximize utilization and effectiveness of brand ambassadors.

Coordinate outfitting pro ambassador with all equipment and promotional needs.

Maintain brand ambassador database and contracts.

Assists in supporting existing consumer marketing efforts and implementing new ideas.

Evaluate industry and trade show trends to make recommendations on new and existing opportunities as well as continually improving our future shows / fishing tournaments / sponsorships.

Assist in maintaining and tracking overall marketing budget.

Assist with marketing projects and administrative matters as needed.

Assist in any aspect of marketing per direction of Director of Marketing and needs of the department.

Experience in the marine industry a plus.

Fishing and/or boating experience a plus.

- Job has no supervisory responsibility of direct reports.

- Extensive interaction with all company departments, direct customers, partners, suppliers and end consumers.
