Marketing Support Specialist

About the Job

This position is responsible for supporting the Financial Advisor to maintain a proactive sales strategy through servicing existing as well as potential clients in a variety of functions.

Principal Responsibilities:
Accurately complete policy applications with customers (MUST have a Series 7 license)for subsequent suitability review
Deliver Policy contracts to customer, consistent with regulatory and Company requirements.
Assist is preparation of product proposals and sales presentations.
Assist with implementation of marketing contact programs and special initiatives.
Answer questions regarding a customer’s existing policies.
Create and Run sales illustrations.
Manage Daily workflow and operations of Advisor.
Develop new or revise existing processes to ensure cost efficiency.
Adheres to Compliance and FINRA guidelines.
Provide New business support.

Knowledge and Skills Required:
Series 7
Strong Telephone skills
Strong computer skills
Strong analytical skills
Knowledge of compliance for financial services industry
Experienced planner and organizer capable of completing multiple tasks and meeting established deadlines
Effectively receives, intercepts, and disseminates information verbally and in writing in a manner that is clear and precise and able to be acted upon
Must regularly make decisions or determine course of action on problem cases and evaluate the need for new or improved methods.
Has authority and responsibility to independently analyze problems, evaluate the possible solutions and recommend a course of action to Advisor.
