Position Description:

Job Title: Master Data Specialist - Billing
Location: Orlando, FL

PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for data integrity and process controls as it relates to system transactions, Customer Master and Core Billing. Understand transaction management, the core billing process and various forms of customer reporting. Responsible for training on all applications or processes within CHEP that facilitates data integrity and core billing within the CHEP TRIPS systems.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Research problems with system transaction and Customer Master
o Primary point of contact for troubleshooting invoices, investigating system issues and system regression testing
o Able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of business rules and processes as well as core billing system functionality
o Able to effectively and succinctly communicate findings to avoid confusion amongst business partners, customers and stakeholders.
• Recommend solutions to problems identified in research.
o Identify and communicate solutions and ensure proposed solutions are realized.
• Educate internal and external customers on policies and procedures relating to the Customer Administration and Transaction Management functions.
• Be “subject matter experts” in all aspects of the role and function.
o Core Billing SME
o Backup to Siebel Administrator/Data Integrity SME (secondary SME)
• Train and support Coordinator role in best practices and mentor the coordinator to develop them into Specialist position.
o Considered a role model and mentor for the team
o Shares best practices
o Take leadership role with managing the workload of the team and action requests during backlogs
• Processes data from CHEP Trips systems (particularly SAP, BW, and Siebel) that allows for the maintenance of financial and quantitative information.
• Maintains weekly validation reports for system accuracy.
o Billing controls and reporting
o Invoice and billing process troubleshooting
• Assists team members, analysts, and manager with Projects as needed.
• Works with Management to initiate and update Standard Operating Procedures and other departmental documentation.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• General understanding of Supply Chain Function
• In-depth understanding of Transactional Flows and Billing Process and related controls
• Good Organization and Time Management Skills
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in training new employees
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Data entry accuracy
• Customer Interaction Experience
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• SAP R/3 and Business Warehouse, Siebel database, Microsoft Access (preferred, not required)
• Experience in inventory control (preferred, not required)
• Experience in supply chain or plant operations (preferred, not required)
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business or related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum of 2 years experience in medium to large corporate environment
