JOB TITLE:  Master Planner Manager

LOCATION:  Kenansville, NC

DIRECT REPORTS:  2

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  This will be a position to plan production based on customer demand forecasting, trends, capacity, and work flow analysis.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

• Plan production for Knitting Department
• Must be able to look at customer demand, machine output then put the two together and make the demand
• Monitor daily output of production
• Monitor amount of equipment needed for customer forecast
• Schedule Machine Changeovers
• Liaison between Manufacturing and Purchasing 

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• BS Degree required – preferably in Production Management or Materials
• 5-7 years planning experience
• Knowledge of fabric manufacturing
• Good computer skills including Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Word and Power Point required
• APICS Certification a big plus.
