Material Handler-3rd shift-P/T

EQUIPMENT & TOOLS UTILIZED
Writing instruments, pallet jack, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, stock picker, stretch wrap, pallets, skids, knife, hand held package scanner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Unload trailers of product and stage for re-loading on route delivery trucks.
• Load delivery trucks with product according to appropriate load sheets.
• Ensure product is in correct location and notify SDO Supervisor of any errors.
• Correct item placement errors when notified.
• Inspects all power equipment prior to operation.
• Ensure product is stacked neatly and safely within the warehouse and on the delivery trucks.
• Completes all tasks accurately and completely in order to meet internal/external customer requirements.
• Perform all tasks to ensure a safe work environment for all associates.
• Maintain a clean and neat work space at all times.
• Seek to improve processes and communicate to co-workers and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Regular attendance.
• Work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative, constructive manner.

REQUIREMENTS
• Must be 18 years old
• High school diploma/equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs on a regular basis
• Ability to effectively read, write, and count.
• Material handling equipment certification.
