About the Job
Materials Manager The individual in this position will be responsible for production control, planning and scheduling as well as inventory and asset management. This individual will create a cost effective purchasing and overall sourcing strategy and be supporting the implementation of best practices including Lean, Six Sigma and Theory of Constraints. This position will coordinate with and support various departments. The position requires a degree in a relevant field and/or CPIM/CIRM/CPM/CPSM certification or equivalent, a minimum of 5 years of supply chain and personnel management experience required. Aviation manufacturing, repair & overhaul experience strongly preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of an organization required. Being goal driven, proactive, hands-on, customer centric and profit-oriented required.
