There is an immediate need for a Materials Manager to join their team and lead the production control, purchasing and materials functions.  The Materials Manager will be responsible for the leadership of the materials group and be a key member of the plant leadership group.  This will require the implementation of best practice standards in the selection of vendors, the optimization of inventory turns and the maximization of the production schedule.  This is a high visibility position with very good upside potential.

Successful candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

  * BA or BS degree.

  * Minimum of 5 years material management experience with at least 2 years in supervisory role.

  * Experience in manufacturing organization of high volume runs.

  * Experience in assembly, machining, hydraulics or pneumatics preferred.

  * Must be skilled in most MRP systems and tools.

  * Must be comfortable working in a lean, continuous improvement environment.
