Who are we looking for?


Responsible for determination/communication of manufacturing requirements while maintaining predetermined finished goods/raw/pack inventories. Position works closely with Supply Management, vendors and manufacturing team.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Schedules outside services

  • Analyze MRP results


    • Issue releases for outside service product

    • Communicate with outside vendors to schedule shipment and receipt of product

    • Support production and shipping with an uninterrupted supply of treated product while maintaining the lowest inventory level possible

    • Outside services pertinent to products are: E-coat, plating, washing, tumbling, and other

  • Container management


    • Manage the inventory level and tracking of expendable packaging and returnable containers

    • Communicate with vendors and customers regarding container tracking and shortages

  • Purchasing Non-Resale Material


    • Monitor MRP demand for spot buy raw material

    • Seek spot buy material on non-resale items in the open market

    • Issue purchase requisitions for non-resale raw material

  • Bills of Material and Routings


    • Assist with setup and maintenance of Bills of Material and Routings

    • Analyze discrepancies on backflush quantities

  • Recommend proposals for improving products, processes, systems, productivity and working environment

  • Aware of all Health, Safety & Environmental policies

  • Know and understand Quality policy

  • Perform all other duties as required
