Materials Planner/support
About the Job
With the guidance of the Materials Manager, provide support to the INOmax DS production team by the planning/scheduling of purchased components to produce products that meet the customer needs in the areas of quality, delivery and cost and cGMP compliance. As an active member of the operations team, the person is expected to fulfill production requirements as well as manage and optimize the supplier base. He/she will be expected to coordinate/support efforts related to predictable and repeatable build of systems through best practices in materials planning, procurement and inventory control.
Coordinate raw materials and packaging components deliveries in compliance with policies and GMP requirements.
Analyze and collect all anticipated demands for component inventory
Data entry, processing and distribution of all purchase requisitions, that are used to develop purchase orders.
Monitor open order report. Track and expedite deliveries as needed.
Create / Distribute Production orders.
Finish Production orders.
Communicating available inventory for Transfer orders to RSC’s for major equipment
Responsible for problem resolution as identified by the MRB Board.
Coordinate returns to suppliers when needed.
Coordinate cycle count activities
Provides back up to the Materials Manager position.

Invoice reconciliation
Minimum five years direct experience in materials and/or purchasing planning using ERP systems. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of applications
Extensive computer skills; strong written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of Current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Cost Accounting, advanced skills in MS Office suite. Direct experience in medical device manufacturing and cGMP requirements desired.
Must work independently with minimal supervision and guidance. Must be mature and assertive with good negotiating skills as well as good interpersonal skills. Must also be capable of making sound decisions within the scope of the position.
Education Requirements: Bachelors Degree
Advanced education and training specifically in materials/purchasing management desired.
