About the Job

Position:
Materials Process Technician



What
we need:  A motivated mechanically
inclined individual who will



1.    
Set
up, adjust, and operate a variety of complex computer controlled equipment
involved in the manufacture of semiconductors for energy efficient electronic
systems.



2.    
Perform
routine and preventive equipment maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.



3.    
Under
limited direction from the Process Engineers, the process technician must
accomplish predetermined R&D activities.



4.    
Perform
measurements and associated data entry with complex test systems (such as AFM
or X-Ray) based on established procedures. Performing measurements at near-by
offsite locations is also required.



5.     Must be willing to work flexible schedules
and overtime as required.



6.     Will work safely around
compressed gasses, acids, solvents, vacuum pump oils, and other chemicals.



7.     Must be capable of moving
heavy gas cylinders and dewars regularly. 



8.     Must be able to work the
night shift.



What you will bring:



1.     AA in Electrical Engineering, Material
Science, and Chemical Engineering with >3 years experience in semiconductors
equipment usage and/or maintenance. Experience in other electrical
manufacturing systems will be considered. High School Equivalent with relevant
experience will also be considered.



2.     Experience with vacuum systems (such
as MOCVD, MBE, E-beam Evaporators) and high purity gas systems (such as
hydrogen).



3.     Test and measurement experience in
semiconductors or chemical engineering areas.



4.     Attention to safety details as well as
a quality mindset is required.



5.     Basic computer skills suitable for
data entry. Familiarity with MS excel/word/access a plus.
