About the Job

What you will do


Works with suppliers, production, materials and inventory
management to ensure the appropriate materials are available to meet the
production schedule. Under general direction, performs routine inventory
analyses and maintains control over production components.  Controls daily input and output of production
and inventory data for the Inventory Management System.


How you will do it


Creates plans for material needs, determining supply
needs, coordinates communications between inventory control and production,
creating inventory reports, and assessing materials. Responsible for
maintaining an accurate cycle counting process and ensuring inventory
validation through DMRs and other reconciliation techniques. Analyzes and
manages inventory levels in relation to customer requirements to meet profit
and inventory targets and goals. Take periodic physical inventories of
production components; order components as needed to maintain established
inventory levels.   Maintains planning
parameters in order execution to ensure proper order generation. Follow-up and
expedite orders to assure timely delivery. 
Coordinate with receiving function to assure proper receipt of
materials; schedule inbound loads. Make daily entries of production and
component inventory data on the Inventory Management System to ensure its
accuracy.  Verifies accuracy of
production reports with the appropriate supervisor(s).  Prepare production reports and assist with
month-end inventories as required. Analyze data, including requirements
planning information and prepares reports as needed to facilitate and recommend
actions to ensure optimal supply chain execution. Supports cost reduction
projects and improvement initiatives to achieve overall business objectives. Complies
with plant safety procedures to ensure a safe environment. Overtime may be
required to meet internal and external customer requirements. Performs any
other duties assigned.

What we look for



  • University degree and 1 year minimum experience, or 2 year degree and 6
    years minimum experience, or equivalent combination of education and

  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management operations concepts surrounding
    production planning, inventory control, purchasing, logistics, and shipping /

  • Good PC skills, MS Excel Proficiency.

  • Ability to work with all operations related departments.

  • Multitasking abilities.



  • APICS Certification desirable.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience working in a multicultural
    environment preferred.

  • Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
