McKesson HBI/HPM Implementation Consultant (24223)

Job Description:
Perot Systems Corporation is a worldwide provider of information technology services and business solutions to a broad range of clients. We are currently looking for a McKesson HBI Implementation Consultant to join our MCKESSON PRACTICE GROUP.

*The qualified candidate will possess the required skills, education, and will be able to travel to client locations throughout the United States 75% and work from home 25%.

Job Responsibilities:
  • File building, documentation, and project management of the system implementation
  • Serve as the primary contact for the application design, order set design, workflow standardization and any issues that arise from the client
  • Assist the client with development of systems operations, policies, and application monitoring
  • Assisting the project team in developing, monitoring, and managing technology support and operational implementation work plans
  • Providing training, testing, and support during the implementation cycle

    Required Skills:
  • Expert level skills in designing and developing reports for clinical systems
  • Report writing experience
  • Report distribution
  • Business analysis experience and healthcare/clinical systems
  • Experience with the building of Horizon Business Insight application
  • Understanding of hospital reporting needs and management
  • Experience managing projects and working with project management methods and tools, and excellent communications skills

    Desired Skills:
  • Experience in the use of a variety of databases, preferably SQL Server and Oracle
  • Ability to work effectively with limited direction
  • Experience with major report system implementations
  • Microsoft Project experience
