Our client in South Carolina is looking for an experience LIS ( Lab Information System ) Technician / Analyst to join their team. The LIS Technician will help with the development, implementation and day-to-day operations of the LIS. They will also assist with the LIS database file build, system maintenance and troubleshooting / end user support.
The LIS Technician / Analyst will report directly to the Lab Manager. This is a permanent, direct-hire position requiring relocation to South Carolina for non-local residents. Annual salary range is $43-58k DOE plus a possible sign-on bonus. Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement LIS
· Build LIS database files
· Assist with daily LIS operations
· System maintenance and troubleshooting
· End user training and support
Requirements:
· 3+ years of clinical lab experience in a large hospital
· 1+ years of LIS computer experience
· MLT ( Medical Lab Tech ) or MT ( Medical Tech ) certification
· Experience with McKesson Horizon LIS
· Knowledge of HL7 with experience interfacing lab instrumentation
