An established and growing midwestern supermarket chain is seeking a Meat Director to bring their meat operations to the next level. Qualified candidates will have a 10 to 15 year history of directing the meat/poultry/pork/veal and seafood operations for a conventional supermarket chain of up to 25 locations and/or dept. volume of up to $42 mil annually. Duties will include: all procurement, merchandising schemes, retail pricing, ad writing, departmental personnel decisions, special promotions, co-ordinating with other executives within the company and total P&L and departmental presentation.
