Mechanic IV

Description:
Disassembles and repairs oilfield equipment. Performs tasks associated with troubleshooting and assembling mechanical assemblies for oilfield drilling equipment. This will include but not limited to the following: blocks, hooks, swivels, and rotary tables. Also draw works, mud pumps, and crown clusters. Will perform or assist with tasks associated with cleaning, sandblasting and painting. Must be a self starter, motivator and work well with others and be willing to work within all other departments as needed. Ensure equipment and working area is in safe and proper working condition at all times.

Qualifications:
Employee must be able to efficiently operate manual and pneumatic hand tools, safely operate forklift and jib hoist/overhead crane.
