Veolia Water North America, the worldwide leader in water/wastewater treatment services, is looking for a Mechanic Lead for our North Haven, CT project.

This position consistently leads an assigned team to perform a variety of semi-skilled, skilled, technical, and administrative work in the planning, scheduling, and maintenance of facility and pump station equipment.

Candidates must possess the following:

• Specialized training in pump and wastewater equipment maintenance with knowledge and experience in the areas of instrumentation, electronic, and electrical maintenance.
• At least fifteen years experience in wastewater equipment and pump maintenance. (Specifically in repair and maintenance of the following: pump control panels, control circuits and all other mechanical equipment found in a wastewater treatment plant.)
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be able to participate in after hours emergency call-outs.

·         Valid Driver’s license and safe driving record.
