Mechanical Design Engineer--Mechanism Design (2 positions)

We are currently recruiting for candidates with 10 years of experience in mechanical design with extensive use of Pro-Engineer.

The successful candidate will provide fundamental engineering support to develop initial design concepts through proto-typing and production release. This individual will interface directly with R&D, Manufacturing and external vendors to resolve design and fabrication issues.

Duties:

·         Design precision machine parts, gears, shafts, mechanism, and castings

·         Create complex 3D model parts, large assemblies and fabrication drawings utilizing Pro-Engineer – Wildfire 4.0

·         Proficient in Top Down Design methodologies (TDD)

·         Generate detailed fabrication drawings per Global DRM and ASME Y-14M with extensive knowledge of GD&T application

·         Perform complex  interference fit checks and tolerance analysis on large assembly

·         Proficient in Pro-Engineer modules (All Foundation modules and Adv Assembly Ext, Mechanism, Detail and Pro-Report, Sheet Metal and Pro-Process is a plus)

·         Utilize Windchill PDMLink is highly desirable

Requires a BSME and 7+ years of applicable experience.
