Karl Associates is seeking experienced candidates to work on a contract basis for a leading supplier of assembly and welding systems, and other related machinery, servicing the Automotive, Aerospace, Alternative Energy and Manufacturing industries.

Summary:

The mechancial designer sketches, designs, and checks special products per assigned project. The objective is to design the products to perform effectively and to be cost efficient.  Candidate must understand customer design and build specifications.  We are looking for tooling designers, not product designers.

CAD Experience:

    -    Catia v5

    -    AutoCad 2D

Work Experience:

    -    8-15 years is preferred

    -    3 years minimum

Education:

    -    Mechanical Engineering Degree

Start Date:

    -    ASAP

End Date:

    -    2-7 months after start depending on work orders

Other Requirements:

    -    Must pass 10 Panel Drug Screening
