Rotary Systems in Ramsey is seeking a Mechanical/Electrical Design Application Engineer for an expanding manufacturer of precision electro-mechanical products.

Required to prepare Slip Ring designs to technical specification and for applications in accordance with customer requirements. This person will also be responsible for supplying technical sales support, identifying and creating a concept, assisting with and organizing technical proposals, conducting technical presentations, and providing trade show support.  This person will be working primarily with defense / aerospace, marine and industrial customers, and should have experience working with all, or some of these markets. Person will need to be well organized, flexible, and capable of working within a multi-cultural environment. Must have a “can-do” attitude and willing and capable to take on added responsibilities as needed. Limited domestic and international travel will be required.

A Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering minimum is required and 5-10 years as an Applications/Design engineer within an electro-mechanical components environment. Exposure to fiber optic technologies a plus.  Experience in the use of Inventor and Solid Works preferred.
