A well established Arkansas company has recently formed a new consulting engineering firm to provide engineering services for Arkansas, architects and surrounding states.  We are seeking to expand our team and hire mechanical &/or electrical engineer and designers.  Our current projects include commercial, institutional, educational, healthcare and local government projects.  Consideration will be given for our central and east Arkansas Offices.

Engineering Positions will be responsible for site evaluation, design, layout, equipment selection, construction drawings and specifications, construction administration, and project close-out.  Electrical position will be responsible for design of site, lighting, power, data, fire alarm, telephone, technology and other facility systems design.  Mechanical position will be responsible for site, calculations, design, equipment selection, mechanical plans and specifications for HVAC, plumbing, ductwork, piping, energy, chilled water, steam, fire protection and other building systems.  Must be familiar with and provide designs to meet applicable local, state, federal, ASHRAE, NEC and NFPA Code requirements.  Successful candidates will assist in marketing proposal efforts, determine engineering and facility budgets, and must possess strong communications skills to work directly with clients.

Requirements:  Prefer BS degree and PE or ability to obtain PE in 1 year, plus 3 to 10 years of applicable experience.  Consideration will be given to designers with 8 or more years applicable facility design experience.  Prefer experience in Revit MEP, BIM, Acad MEP, sustainable designs LEED professional, and/or CEM.
