Mechanical Engineer III

Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:

HVAC Engineer. Responsible for the Project Management of commercial HVAC design and construction projects. Also responsible for the design of smaller HVAC systems. Should be knowledgeable of typical HVAC and related systems including chillers, AHUs, split systems, heat pumps, cooling towers, boilers, steam and condensate piping, DDC controls, pumps and piping (water and wastewater), measurement and use of energy.

KNOWLEDGE:

Complete understanding and application of principles, concepts, practices, and standards. Full knowledge of industry practices.

Job Experience:
MIN EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

6 - 9 years with BA.
4 - 7 years with MBA.

Registered PE - preferred
Department of Defense experience preferred
MEP and Facilities experience preferred


SUPERVISION EXERCISED:
Does not supervise.
