About the Job
Lumenis Ltd. develops, manufactures and markets state-of-the-art proprietary laser and intense pulsed light devices. Its systems are used in a variety of aesthetic, surgical and ophthalmic applications, including skin treatments, hair removal, non-invasive treatment of vascular lesions and pigmented lesions, acne, ENT, gynecology, urinary lithotripsy, benign prostatic hyperplasia, open angle glaucoma, secondary cataracts, age-related macular degeneration, and refractive eye correction, as well as neurosurgery.
PRIMARY FUNCTION
Support the project teams with mechanical design, documentation, and testing for the development and production of medical lasers.
Foster and develop good working relationships with product team members.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
'' Exercise experience and judgment on manufacturability of products during development.
'' Support selection and/or design of equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
'' Document processes as required by Standard Operating Practices.
'' Use skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolve a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways.
'' Work on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
'' Demonstrate good judgment in selection methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
'' Interact with senior internal and external personnel.
'' Normally receive little instruction on day-to-day work; general instructions on new assignments.
'' Help train and give guidance to other Lumenis employees.
Qualifications:
'' BS degree in Mechanical Engineering with design experience.
'' 5+ years of related experience
'' Job is a fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position
