This is a working manager role leading a small team.  This individual will oversee the work of a group of talented mechanical designers and structural analysis engineers, and will also be responsible for their own design/analysis projects. Experience with turbomachinery design (bearings, seals, rotordynamics, stress, and fatigue lifing) is required. Experience can come from a number of different industries, including turbocharger, industrial compressor/turbine, aerospace gas turbine, etc. Project and personnel management experience is highly desirable. The successful candidate must have a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (M.S. preferred) and 10+ years of relevant design and/or analysis experience.
