Mechanical Engineering Roles - USA

Job Description:
Mechanical Engineers at Kimberly-Clark initiate, design, develop, optimize and problem solve manufacturing processes in a manner that meets safety and performance expectations. The Mechanical Engineer for this role will provide leadership and creativity in exploration, design, development, optimization and implementation of major processes and systems. Candidates must have expertise across multiple technologies in both staff and plant environments and will have a demonstrated ability to effectively provide work direction to a broad range of team members. The incumbent reports to an Engineering Team Leader and receives direction in the form of broad assignment objectives.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology degree from an ABET accredited college or university & a minimum of 2 years of full-time employment experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
  • Candidates with a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited college or university with a 3.0/4.0 or higher grade point average & some applicable experience will also be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a technical or operational assignment.

    Preferred:
  • 15+ yrs of exp. in a variety of plant & staff assignments, including maintenance & operations.
