With Stirling Energy Systems, you'll play an integral part in contributing to the success of our newly designed commissioned solar power plant Suncatcher systems. As a key member of our hand-picked, cross-functional maintenance and operations team, you will have the opportunity to apply your mechanical and electrical background and acquire new skills in equipment operation and electrical controls technologies.
As a mechanical maintenance technician with a solid background in maintaining mechanical equipment, you will have an immediate impact on the success of our proprietary SunCatcher Solar technology in Albuquerque, NM. Experience in the mechanical upkeep of manufacturing plants, power generation facilities or internal combustion engines will set you ahead of the rest as your primary responsibility will be to disassemble and rebuild Stirling Engines and troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions of the dish systems. Continue to fine tune your maintenance skills as you perform preventative and corrective maintenance for various mechanical and electrical components of the Stirling SunCatcher Dish.
Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated experience in electrical wiring, maintenance of 3 phase electrical equipment, or electronics design or repair. Other useful experience includes forklift, crane, and man-lift operation. performing maintenance outdoors on the assembled dish system.
