Mechanical Technician - Food Production Equipment

The Hershey Company is currently interviewing skilled professionals for multiple "Mechanical Technician" openings at our world-class Twizzler/Y&S production facility located in Lancaster, PA.

In this role, you will be a resident "Mechanical Systems Expert".  Primary duties of this position include the troubleshooting and repair of production equipment. Responsibilities include mechanical installation, setup and repair. PC knowledge is helpful. 

 

Our interview process includes a hands-on assessment of your electrical and mechanical knowledge as well as a standard face-to-face and/or telephone interview.  When you successfully complete this process you will enjoy the following:

 

Rate of Pay:  

At least $20.00 per hour depending on your experience with a premium for 2nd or 3rd shifts

The shifts for our openings have not been determined however, they will most likely be on off shifts.   As with most manufacturing-related opportunities, these positions may at times require weekends, off-shift coverage or overtime work.

Educational Requirements: 

High School Diploma or GED.  Technical School degree is a plus.

 

Experience: 

Five years of experience in either manufacturing, military, or an owner/operator trades environment.
