Product Development Engineer
I am currently working with a top notch medical device supplier that specializes in spinal and orthopedic products used to repair and reinforce orthopedic disorders. This company is an FDA registered, ISO 13485 certified medical device supplier. They are currently seeking (2) Product Development Engineers for their Ohio facility. This individual will be responsible for the design and development of spinal implant devices.
This is a very high profile opportunity with the responsibility of working directly with leading surgeons to design devices and develop surgical procedures for the spinal market.
Requirements:
- BS-Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
- 5+ years of product development experience related to the design, development, and manufacture of medical implants-spinal or orthopedic.
- Experience with 3D CAD (such as ProE), GD&T, FEA
- Project management and documentation with design controls, risk analysis, etc.
- Established track record of launching new medical device products on time
- Strong mechanical and problem solving skills.
- Working knowledge of machine shop practices and processes.
Benefits:
- Salary range $65,000-$95,000 based on experience
